Customs bonded warehouse status within AFZ requires UAE Federal Customs Authority inspection of completed facilities, verifying security camera coverage, inventory management software integration, and bonded zone perimeter fencing specification before bonded status activation. Pallet racking installation permits are required from AFZ Authority for rack systems above 4.5 metres in height, with structural calculations for the racking base plate anchorage submitted alongside the building tenancy agreement to confirm the existing floor slab has adequate punching shear capacity.
